Most original single phase / 240 VAC electric motors are a 2.2kW, 2 or 4 pole. These motors are under rated for the application & as a result the high current draw burns out the internal start/run capacitors & centrifugal switches.

The Aussie Woolpress upgrades include 3,4 & 5.5kW, 2,4 or 6 pole electric motors that will give improved torque at lower speeds together with low vibration which are what is needed with a hydraulic Woolpress. The benefits include:

Did you know that with most Lyco & Stevlyon machines the hydraulic filter doesn’t actually work as the pressure is too great and the filter is bypassed!

If you want to protect the hydraulic components in your Woolpress, then you need our filter upgrade kit. The kit comes complete with everything you need including:

• Uprated 10 Micron hydraulic filter
• Hydraulic hoses
• Filter housing
• Mounting bracket
• Hydraulic adaptors & hose clamps

• D.O.L ELECTRIC MOTOR STARTER SWITCH: This industrial specification switch allows you to turn the electric motor on and off safely & can be used in conjunction with safety E-Stops
• 15 AMP MALE POWER INPUT CONNECTION: With safety in the shed in mind, this set up allows for the extension cable to come out should it get snagged or pulled – Without damaging any of the mains wiring and limiting risk of injury or expensive & time delay repairs
• 10 AMP – FEMALE POWER OUTPUT SOCKET: This 3 Pin 10A outlet is ideal to power electronic scales or other low current draw small devices
• 15 AMP HEAVY DUTY EXTENSION CABLE: 2.5mm2, 3/4 Core, 10m with moulded plug ends

It outperforms any other hydraulic pump system available in terms of Power/Current draw, using much less power than other systems. Designed by same engineer & based on the original system fitted to Lyco Dominator,  It is considered to be the most superior pump system available for a Woolpress.

It can be fitted to any Make or Model of Woolpress.  The benefits include:

• Amps: (A guide to power consumption & setting of power limiting devices)

With safety under the Worksafe microscope, we have the ideal solution. Our 90mm mushroom e-stop can be fitted with the Stop/Start Motor Option. It can only be fitted to electric motors that have a stop start or isolator switch.

Enjoy improved performance with our manifold options and special custom cartridges. Used in conjunction with the power monitor makes setting up the hydraulics on your Woolpress very easy. We can show great improvement with our custom cartridge solutions.

With a background and current working in industrial automation, we have an in depth knowledge of these products and have a range to suit every application. Items like the OP20 with an upgraded spool for the TPW are in stock and ready to ship. Our custom spool creates a lower pressure drop and thereby less heat within the hydraulic system.
