As well as upgrading the performance & efficiency of a Woolpress, we have also improved the safety of the machine by developing a number of safety features design to keep the workforce safe in the shearing shed.

With the spotlight growing much brighter OH&S factors within shearing sheds, we are working with the authorities to improve safety with the introduction of the safety features that will soon become the law.

Hardware Overview

Visually we have added key safety items that work in-conjunction with the pressing cycle and general operation. This include:

Machine Status Indicator

This traffic light system based unit will not only flash an appropriate colour depending upon the machine status, but also emit a buzzer sound to warn bystanders of a potential issue

Emergency Stop Buttons

Every Power Master Upgrade comes with 3 Emergency Stop buttons. One is located next to the touchscreen and the other 2 are located on the front & rear wool chamber sides

Intelligent Safety Switches

The above items work hand in hand with a series of magnetically encoded and proximity switches that monitor the position of things like bump bars and hydraulic valve positions

The Power Master Upgrade delivers more than improved performance. It keeps things safe in the shearing shed too.
